|Description:||Graphical editor for XML documents (0.9.1-1009)|
Conglomerate is a free, user-friendly XML editor. It is particularly aimed at DocBook, but should be able to handle any XML document type. It has source view and export capabilities. Runs outside of gnome, but needs it to be installed.
You can use Conglomerate with kde, gnome or X11. Under gnome or kde, launch it with (e.g. to get it in French): export LANGUAGE=fr_FR; unset LC_ALL; conglomerate You can enter any glyphs in text, providing that you use Unicode. If the import function does not work properly, you can use the various opensp tools to convert a given file to xml before opening it with conglomerate To export a file to another format, it has to be valid. To view the help, it is recommanded that you install yelp. If you want to inspect the code, install devhelp. Printing does not work, as it uses libfop not ported to fink
