The goal of the project is to provide a minimalist,
clean and stable general purpose Mozilla plugin module
that allows the user to embed and launch their favourite
application to handle the various different types of media
found on the Internet.
A list of Fink packages that supply executables recognized
by mozplugger contains, among others:
mplayer, totem, gxine, xmms, xv, xpdf, kpdf, evince, gv, xdvi,
kword, abiword, timidity, mikmod, gqview, imagemagick, ... | ||
| Usage Hints: | ||
When /sw/bin/firefox (version 3) is started, it loads the
mozplugger plugin automatically. You can verify this by looking
at the URL about:plugins
For configuring mozplugger, copy /sw/etc/mozpluggerrc into
~/.mozilla/ and edit the copy. Instructions are given in the
mozplugger manpage and on the web site. | ||
