mpg123 is a fast, free and portable MPEG audio player for Unix. It
supports MPEG 1.0/2.0/2.5 layers 1, 2 and 3.
This package includes the coreaudio, openal and dummy output modules.
mpg123-jack, mpg123-portaudio and mpg123-sdl modules are available
separately. coreaudio (the default) and sdl are the most efficient.
portaudio and openal use slightly more cpu, and jack seems buggy. | ||||||
