OpenMotif is a more "official" implementation of Motif. Some apps behave better with openmotif, but lesstif's license is less restrictive. Note: OpenMotif 2.2 is considered an experimental release. http://www.motifdeveloper.com/tips/tip22.html

Usage Hints:

Source users must 'fink remove lesstif' before building this package. Clients which link both libXm and libXt from XFree86 >= 4.2 should use the -force_flat_namespace linker flag (to avoid errors of the form "Error: attempt to add non-widget child .. " upon launch).
