OpenVRML is a portable toolkit including a C++ library for reading
and displaying VRML and X3D files, an OpenGL renderer, and a Mozilla
web browser plug-in for viewing VRML and X3D content on the Internet. | ||||||||||

If you wish to view VRML files, install the package openvrml016
or openvrml016-xembed.
openvrml016 installs a very basic VRML viewer (openvrml-sdl-viewer)
based on the example code in the OpenVRML distribution.
openvrml016-xembed additionally builds an XEmbed control for GNOME,
plus a GNOME-based OpenVRML viewer (openvrml-player) and a VRML viewer
plugin for the Firefox web browser.
If you wish to build software packages that use OpenVRML, install
openvrml6-dev and openvrml-gl6-dev, or openvrml6-xembed-dev and
openvrml-gl6-xembed-dev packages. The manual for OpenVRML is in
