Regina is a suite of mathematical software for 3-manifold topologists. Highlights of Regina include triangulation analysis and simplification, census creation and normal surface enumeration. This package provides development files for compiling the Regina calculation engine into other projects.
The Regina calculation engine is provided in the C++ shared library /sw/lib/libregina-engine.dylib. The corresponding headers can be found in /sw/include/regina-normal/. Complete API documentation for this library can be found in the package regina-normal. This documentation is typically installed in the directory /sw/share/regina-normal/engine-docs/, and can also be viewed through Regina's graphical user interface by selecting "Help -> Python Reference". Developers can run /sw/bin/regina-engine-config to obtain the necessary compiler and linker options.
